They will help me to understand a little more about you, your journey and what you hope to gain from Christian Peer Support.

Any information you provide will be treated with care and confidentiality. As part of the registration process, I will also arrange a brief preliminary Zoom conversation with you. This is an opportunity for us to meet one another, establish mutual trust and ensure that the group is an appropriate and safe setting for you.

I have shared something of my own journey with Christ in the About Us section of this website. If you feel comfortable doing so, I would welcome you sharing something of your own story and faith journey with me. Peer support is built upon mutuality, authenticity and shared experience, and I believe that getting to know one another can help us establish rapport and create a genuine sense of community from the outset.

Once you have registered and I have had an opportunity to speak with you, I will assess the level of interest in forming a group. If there is sufficient interest, we will look at arranging our first session via Zoom.

The group will initially remain small, with a maximum of 10 participants, allowing everyone the opportunity to be heard while maintaining a safe and manageable environment.

Sessions will be structured and guided, and will initially last approximately one hour. As the group develops, and depending on what works best for those attending, there may be an opportunity to extend sessions to up to two hours.

My hope is that, over time, we will be able to meet weekly. In the early stages, however, sessions may take place more sporadically while we establish the group and understand the level of ongoing interest.

The purpose is not simply to meet online, but to create a space where we can walk alongside one another in faith, share our experiences honestly, encourage one another and rediscover hope together.
